Welcome to Planetary Citizens!
I’m Zen Benefiel, the creator of this site and founder of this activity. It is honor to do so and this is not a movement. We aren’t fighting anything, even change. It is an activity to educate, connect and support co-creating a ‘new normal’ we know can happen that is good for all of us.
I play a small role, along with many others. Collectively, we have tremendous opportunity ahead as we enter a new age of intelligence, perhaps even an evolution where science and spirituality merge as one.
My life-long quest has been about learning how and then practicing facilitating harmony among people and planet in simple ways that cover the practical and pragmatic activities necessary. There are simple principles we follow; natural order, servant leadership, and transparency.
My career path has been unique, to say the least, across multiple environments and industries, providing experience, learning and performance enhancements. Luba’s entrance into my life in 2016 profoundly impacted my productivity and purposefulness. Raised in Leninigrad, USSR, which became St. Petersburg in 1991 she prefers being a piano pedagogue to engaging people at present. Our cultural mix took some time to evolve into a coherent and cohesive relationship as one, empowered and fueled by our diversity.
Along with our discoveries, distilled educations, experiences in music and life, we’ve found ecstasy of discovering flow with each other. My prior work of facilitating people, places and things to work together better with coherence, cohesion of skillsets, passion and purpose took an evo-leap in producing a podcast, becoming Operations Director for Live and Let Live, and now Planetary Citizens construction. Life for me now carries with it a sense beyond common, yet common to each of us, internally.
Revealing this as my mission in life, with a rite of passage at 18 delivering the memo for my life’s journey, it has been excruciatingly fun. 50 years ago, I paid a hefty price for speaking up. Thirty years ago, after starting a family and divorcing, I began talking to others openly with One World TV show in Phoenix, Arizona. Today, after the sequestration and self-examination, it doesn’t sound so incredulous. In fact, many have an awareness of a shift and are networking with others, honing their skills and seeking cohorts to engage a more resonant path in life that aligns with sense of happiness and harmony. When we harvest our past, we can see the future, its foretelling and the path ahead to get there.
Some Rationale
Admittedly the border between brilliance and insanity can be quite thin at times, yet possibilities to coagulate are revealed to those willing to hold on nowhere and be curious. I suspect you have experienced that, evidenced by you reading this. If what I believe to be true and the possibility does exist, then the material presented here will at least make sense. I don’t need accolades, or social currency; I’m looking for playmates for the process. I’m rated in the top 100 Thought Leaders in North America by Thinkers360. As a thought leader, what can I do?
First acquiring the domain in 2010, this website is taking an evo-leap, too; an idea given form with an invitation to participate across a variety of opportunities, all capable of producing income streams so we can do what we love and be rewarded for it. Our collective vision has opportunity to emerge into form as a result, as I am not the architect, only a servant of the One in us All, fortunate to have the skill set to frame it loosely. I continue to make adjustments as I listen deeply in reflection of this construct in process of co-creation.
Leading and learning recently includes talking with thought leaders and others over the last few years in private and public groups plus 150+ conversations for One World in a New World, which hit one million views March 30, 2024. I have a synopsis of first year published for ease of review. We understand the potential and as part of a holistic system, we can ask better questions of how it needs to work. It’s consistent with the new paradigm explanations many have offered, including the ‘Spiral Wizard’ mentioned in Spiral Dynamics.
For me, the quest for functionality stems from finding corroboration of my early experience through discovering in the Vedas (15,000 yr old Sanskrit poems) that we are all cosmic consciousness condensed into form, at various levels of awareness, and seeking our fit and function in the world through natural design as an expression of love, unity and coherence with the universe, inclusive of self, others and Mother Earth.
Modern physics echoes this knowledge with proof the universe is made up of vibrating strings, not physical at all, and that our awareness, thoughts, and feelings have a profound effect upon our experience of reality. Seeking order is natural, yet how do we advance that awareness into adjusting, creating and engaging a new normal of people, places and things for the good of all? The answer is in sensing our way, beyond thinking, through the vibratory realm we know as reality. We cannot think our way through a system built on vibration.
I may be initiating this activity, yet I/we need help. Do you? If I’m right, you’ll feel some resonance, at least. Are you looking for playmates rather than accolades? Is the timing right? Do you grok the notion of a cosmic dance that brings us together to be uniquely functional through applied physics and spirituality? I suspect if we focus attention, intention and interactions, loving what we do, doors will open, perhaps rapidly.
I offer that we find solace in each other and explore, figure it out together, and co-create a robust environment capable of connecting people, places and things in a different way, beginning with showcasing those who’ve gone before as pioneers in their various fields. The loose framework here allows initial communication and development. My intention is to make sense and invite participation in ways that match passion, purpose, resources and time available. I believe it’s time to shine and we are capable co-creators of our future.
By fostering a culture of cooperation and mutual respect, in a coherent form of diversity, equity and inclusion, we can unlock the collective genius that is our birthright, perhaps our destiny, and bring forth solutions that are more that just sustainable. They are regenerative, able to be bio-regionally specific to actually fit the needs of the communities and environment is healthy ways for people and planet.
This is a call to action, a call to rise above the limitations of the past and embrace the possibilities of the future, perhaps even your ‘calling’ in this life. We CAN do this! We urge you to engage with us in meaningful dialogue and to contribute your unique talents to this grand vision, though it has to be self-initiated. We only ask this if it resonates deeply and you’ve done your homework. 🙂
